Wow! Shocking news to me! I've been listening to Teresa Teng for the longest time, (since I was 10), and never thought for a moment that she is gone....
I admire her so much and I love her voice. When did she pass on! How shocking to me to read that she is no longer with us.... and how old was she when she passed on?
Teresa Teng, born January 29, 1953 in Taiwan, died May 8, 1995 at the age of 42 from a sudden asthmatic attack while vacationing in Thailand. But she was tremendously successful in what she did.
Many successful singers such as Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, and so on are considered overrated but who can deny their achievements - not easy in the entertainment industry.
I one thing I do like about Teresa Teng is her humbleness which was genuine and not fake. To be humble as a celebrity is a rare thing indeed.
